Rick, a licensed Realtor, is currently the co-owner of Real Estate in Nevada and serves as the business manager. Rick focuses on Administration & marketing of the business.

Rick served in the US Marines to include service in Viet Nam. Rick started his law enforcement career in Hawaii as a Correctional officer and then State Police Officer. Rick’s federal career history includes over 30 years’ experience as an Executive & manager in law enforcement positions within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and formerly the U.S. Justice Department.

Rick has an extensive background in federal law enforcement, security, emergency management and Homeland Security endeavors. Rick was appointed in August 2007, as the Homeland Security Advisor, cabinet member, and Director of Nevada Homeland Security to Nevada’s Governor Gibbons as Nevada’s Director of Homeland Security. Rick then returned to federal service on contract as the DHS’s advocate & representative for an Intelligence sharing program (HSIN) in six western states.

Rick Eaton has a long standing record of community service, particularly in his volunteer work for the Boy Scouts of America. In Reno in 1994, he established the first Boy Scout troop ever chartered to the INS. Rick became the first Nevadan to win the Spirit of Scouting Award, and was later named one of the 60 Outstanding Scoutmasters in the United States. Rick previously served on Northern Nevada, and Bay Area Council Executive Boards

Rick received his bachelors from Chaminade University of Honolulu, with a major in Psychology, minors in both Business and Criminal Justice. Rick is also a Senior Executive Fellow, Harvard University, Boston.

Rick is married to Nanette Fink Eaton a native Nevadan & Broker of Real Estate In Nevada. Rick & Nanette have one son Marshall, age 14. Rick also has an adult son, Gerald who along with his wife Eunice & son Calvin resides in Reno. Rick is a pilot and enjoys general aviation flying.
